Welcome to Wellington

We are proud to be showcasing at the annual ILCU Conference in our home town of Belfast on the 27th-28th of April.

We will be demonstrating the very latest in Credit Union IT technologies such as Industry 1st EFT and banking initiatives (BOI, BNP, AIB, Co-op), along with CUonline and our exciting and very affordable ASP solution for smaller Credit Unions.

This year will prove to be even more exciting with live demonstrations of the industries most advanced Credit Union technologies from Wellington, with opportunities to learn more and speak with our friendly staff.

We especially welcome Credit Unions who may be using other IT systems, to come along and learn about how Wellington work with more of the Top50 Credit Unions in Ireland than any other supplier, and how we could be of service to you.

We attended the Spring ABCUL Conference in Blackpool on the 16th-17th of March, where we demonstrated the latest in Credit Union IT technologies like Industry 1st EFT and banking initiatives (Co-op, BOI, AIB), along with our exciting and very affordable ASP solution.

We met with many Credit Unions and thank all of you who called by our stand to talk to Stephen and Kevin.

Highlighted during the convention was the Wellington commitment to support of our customers. Support is of paramount importance to us with the large Wellington support team are on hand to guide, help and advise on issues.

We have the highest support staff to site ratio of any supplier and are proud of our commitment to our customers!

Official Launch 2007

Thank you to all who came along to the official CUonline Launch event on Friday 12th of January!

The event proved to be a huge success, with many Credit Unions and press in attendance.

Our honored guest and Nobel Peace Prize winner, John Hume, officially launched the next generation of CUonline Electronic Funds Transfer website allowing members to pay bills, transfer funds into accounts and manage their finances online with ease.

We attended the ABCUL conference in Coventry on the 24th-28th of November. We demonstrated the latest in Credit Union IT technologies, along with our exciting and affordable ASP solution, to a number of ABCUL Credit Unions with a good response.

The recent Wellington User Group Meeting was held in Tullamore on the 8th of November. It proved to be very successful, where we discussed many of the exciting aspects of the new release.

We will be contacting Credit Unions in the upcoming months to schedule in the updates, to allow them to take advantage of the great new features and improvements in LOCUS.

The recent National Supervisors Forum in Waterford presented a great opportunity to allow Wellington to demonstrate the powerful Supervisor specific functions built into LOCUS.

The fully comprehensive suite of tools includes: reports, enquiry screens, analysis, and automated letter production; all with a customised login and layout for Supervisors.

CU Conference in Dublin a big hit with Wellington users:

With the Credit Union Convention behind us for another year, we would like to thank all of you who came to see us over the weekend! Wellington launch new version of CUOnlne

CUOnline is our Online Accounts package for Credit Unions members. This product has been developed on the Microsoft .NET platform to give maximum security and reliability. It is undergoing final trials in September and will be on general release from October of this year. CUOnline will provide Credit Unions members with:

• Industry-standard 128bit encryption
• Fast and reliable VPN connections
• Additional Member Services
  • Full online statement printing facility 
  • Secure Messaging between Credit Union & member
  • Members can now update online details

This release will provide the platform for future developments eventually giving Credit Union members the ability to move funds On-line with full On-line Banking facilities .

Wellington Marches to the tune of ¾ Million Euro!
Wellington Computer Systems have just announced new contracts worth in excess of ¾ Million Euro, further increasing their reputation as leaders in the fields of Integrated ERP and Financial Services software.

Wellington will also be installing its new ‘track-and-trace’ and Mobile Salesforce software within the Beverages Industry, whilst it is increasing its penetration of both its LOCUS credit union software package, and also its CUCash ATM systems within the Credit Union Marketplace.

Alex Dunne, Managing Director of Wellington commented “We are very pleased to be entering a period of sustained growth. Wellington’s Credit Union Software ‘LOCUS’ now manages over ½ Million Credit Union Accounts, processing over €2 Billion per annum.
With recent successful business contracts, LOCUS now processes more Credit Union Member Funds than any other supplier in Ireland. Kevin Taylor, Technical Director added ‘our dedicated Credit Union team have continued to develop first class software solutions, further strengthening our position with Ireland’s Credit Union Industry’.

Track and Trace will meet all the new EU Legislation to protect the consumer. This new development will connect not only to LiquiST@T but will also be available with a published interface for non LiquiST@T Users.

Wellington sees 25% Increase in their LOCUS User Base in last year
Our market leading Credit Union software LOCUS has recently been installed in 7 Credit Unions throughout Ireland and Scotland in the last year. New LOCUS users include Rathkeale (ROI), Cashel (ROI), Portadown (NI), Ballybay (ROI), Premier Navan (ROI), Downpatrick (NI), Ormeau (NI) and Pollok (Glasgow).
