The objective of the Portal is to provide a series of self service, content driven web sites through which the Credit Unions as a group can 'Brand' their Corporate identity by channelling Web access to each individual Credit Union site through a common gateway.

This common gateway can contain details of the Credit Union Movement and will allow the Credit Unions to act together to develop marketing plans and strategies to extend the scope of their business. As well as the gateway the Portal will provide each Credit Union with their own web site where they can express their own individuality, allowing specified individuals within each Credit Union to manage the site content, post news items and bulletin boards which will be of interest to the local community, without needing any specialised knowledge of the underlying technologies that built the site.

The system seamlessy integrates with LOCUS to provide the membership with access to account balance and transaction history information, as well as the ability to apply for loans.
